Laser Lipolysis, commonly known as ‘laser lipo’, is Laser Liposuction with pads, also known as Lipo-Light or LED lipo, is an innovative and non-invasive procedure that offers targeted fat reduction and body contouring. This advanced technology utilizes specially designed pads that emit low-level laser energy, which is applied directly to the skin's surface over the targeted areas.
The low-level laser energy penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the fat cells, causing them to release stored triglycerides and fatty acids. These liberated fatty acids are then naturally metabolized and eliminated by the body through the lymphatic system.
The procedure is painless and requires no downtime, making it a convenient option for those with busy lifestyles. Unlike traditional liposuction, there are no incisions or anesthesia required, which means minimal discomfort and no scarring.
Laser Liposuction with pads is effective in reducing localized fat deposits in areas like the abdomen, thighs, arms, hips, and waistline. It can help contour the body, leading to a slimmer and more defined silhouette.
One of the significant advantages of this procedure is that it can be combined with other treatments, such as radiofrequency or massage, to further enhance results and improve skin elasticity.
It's essential to note that Laser Liposuction with pads is best suited for individuals close to their ideal weight and looking to address specific problem areas resistant to diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss procedure but rather a targeted fat reduction technique.
As with any cosmetic procedure, it is crucial to consult with a qualified and experienced practitioner to assess your candidacy and discuss your goals. We will guide you through the process and provide personalized recommendations to help you achieve the desired outcome safely and effectively.
Anyone who has unwanted, stubborn areas of fat may be a candidate for laser lipolysis. The ideal candidate should be at, or close to, their healthy body weight and have realistic expectations of what the treatment can achieve. People who have a significant amount of weight to lose or are obese are not suitable for this treatment as it is intended to contour and shape the body rather than provide significant weight loss. Pregnant women are also not suitable for this treatment.

Laser lipo with pads, also known as LED lipo or Lipo-Light, is a non-invasive procedure designed to reduce localized fat deposits and contour the body. Here's an overview of what the treatment involves;
Consultation: The process typically begins with a consultation with a qualified practitioner. During this session, you'll discuss your aesthetic goals, assess your suitability for the procedure, and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Preparation: On the day of the treatment, you'll be asked to lie comfortably on a treatment bed. The targeted areas will be measured, and photos may be taken to track your progress throughout the process.
Application of Pads: The practitioner will place specially designed pads with low-level laser diodes on the skin's surface over the areas to be treated. These pads emit safe and painless laser energy.
Laser Energy Absorption: The low-level laser energy is absorbed by the fat cells, leading them to release stored fatty acids and triglycerides. This process is known as lipolysis.
Stimulation of Lymphatic System: The released fatty acids and triglycerides are transported through the lymphatic system, where they are naturally metabolized and eliminated by the body.
Treatment Duration: The procedure typically takes around 30 minutes, depending on the size and number of areas being treated.
It's important to note that laser lipo with pads is not a weight loss procedure but rather a targeted fat reduction method for individuals close to their ideal weight. The treatment is most effective for localized fat deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise.
Leading up to your appointment, you should drink plenty of water. For all stomach area treatments please ensure you have visited the Lavatory pre-treatment.
Your technician will have a consultation with you pre-treatment to ensure correct paperwork has been completed and all questions answered.
During treatment your technician will mark on your body with pen the areas to be targeted.
They will then fit a custom applicator pattern to fit your body and target the right area.
You will then be asked to lie down on a bed to fit the applicators on to your body. The applicators will be secured into the pattern to rest on the body part that is being treated. The Laser Lipo machine will then be turned on and treatment will begin.
When the treatment starts you will feel a cooling sensation that helps keep your skin comfortable throughout the treatment. The first four minutes of the treatment is the build phase.
After these few minutes you will feel alternating sensations of deep warmth and cooling as the lasers start to destroy your cells. Treatment is typically approx 30 mins.
You can expect to lose up to a fist-sized amount of fat from the treated area by the time treatment is completed. You can usually start to see results in 6-8 weeks. The results are more dramatic and immediate where several treatments take place within 48 - 72 hours of each other.
The heat from the laser can also help tighten the skin so you may instantly feel more toned.
For years now, liposuction has remained one of the top cosmetic procedures performed in the UK. Between 2015 and 2017, the number of lipo procedures increased by 16.3%, or a jump of 363,912 treatments. Yet in addition to surgery, there is a new treatment that is reshaping bodies and melting fat: laser liposuction.
This weight loss procedure isn’t as well-known as its surgical counterpart, but it can be just as beneficial to those who want to shed a bit of unwanted weight. Here are three surprising facts about this treatment that you may not have heard before.
When most people hear the word “liposuction,” they tend to think of an invasive surgery that can take a long time to recover from. However, laser lipo isn’t the same as the procedures of old. Laser liposuction uses lasers and absorbs about 90% of the water in fat anywhere the patient chooses to get the procedure done. In addition to liposuction with lasers, there is also laser cellulite removal for those who want to target specific areas of the body.
How much does liposuction cost? While the price of either procedure can vary depending on where it’s performed and how comprehensive the treatment will be, a typical liposuction procedure can cost nearly £10,000, according to Harley Street. Because laser lipo is an outpatient treatment, the cost is considerably less.
Liposuction patients are three times more likely to gain weight if they don’t eat healthy, and they’re four times as likely to put on weight if they don’t exercise. Maintaining that weight loss after lipo means following a healthy lifestyle with good eating and exercise habits.
